Wokeness; the mindset of collectivist oppression, taking the position of the moral high ground. A cynical approach to life where life is not love but power- and love and power are not the same thing.

Masquerading as social justice, it couldn’t be further from the truth. And that is in spite of the undeniably good intentions of many of its adherents- or those who readily adopt the ‘revolutionary’ (or by now widely sanctioned…) trends.

It is a caricature of justice- an over-simplified and stream-lined parody of it. Because it addresses not people in the wholeness of themselves, but symbolic indicators of who they are, or categorical attachments to them. Of them. Which become ‘who they are,’ to the woke mindset. Decontextualised from the truth, and recontextualised in limited boxes…
