Or is it saving the world and making it a better place?
We know that what gets called ‘misinformation’ may well include information that established interests just don’t want you to see. Or hear. Even if it’s true. And since often, they are the ones defining the terms splashed about in the old media, we need to inform ourselves. After all, we are in-form-ation. We are shaped, and we are shaping. Not to say that everything or anything ‘alternative’ is automatically true. Of course not. We question that too. But surely we need all the information to make informed decisions, to give informed consent, to whatever it may be. Otherwise it’s just being ushered along like lemmings. But no, apparently not. Apparently censorship is for everyone’s benefit, massive agendas pave the way to a brighter future, corporate profits are for your safety, and you are far more secure- not in life itself- but in a system of control, disguised as liberation. Knowledge is power, and its best you don’t have it. That’s one way of looking at it, anyway.
Best for who? Clearly, certain information goes against the grain of vested power interests. And so it may be painted (who has the brushes?) in a negative light. By those invested, vested interests. Darkness (when appealing to light) paints light as dark and dark as light. That doesn’t make it so. However much the narratives are spun to prop up illusions, to maintain the hypnosis, to psychologically alter us into submission to images of reality much less than ourselves.
The Truth is the Truth. What works against the interests of lies, may well work in your interests.. to know. But then, you might already be taken by the lie, in which case it won’t.
Your deeper awareness, your deeper knowledge, works against the interests of a system hell-bent on limitation, and perhaps, just perhaps, more in your own- in the interests of life itself. Life’s expansion, growth, fulfilment, definition. So here we are again. It’s up to you to decide for yourself. What is the lie? What is the Truth? This is your own journey of Life.
Surely, the course of action we take depends upon what we determine to be true.
