He talks about the ‘real danger of socialist-communist… welfare state, big brother government.’ Add ‘fascist’ and ‘technocratic’ to that, and you’ve pretty much got the right (or the wrong, actually) mix.
We’ve been demoralised. Destabilised. We are in the midst of ‘crisis’ (likely ‘wave after wave’) and the ‘New Normal’ is on the horizon… is constantly being presented to us.
And yet… It’s not ‘the Russians.’ And it’s not just about America either. It’s nothing fractious and polarising at all. This is global.
